Pop singer Lady Gaga has suggested actress Lindsay Lohan not to listen to her critics. In fact, the ‘The Born This Way’ singer has also praised Lohan’s performance in the new film Liz & Dick, in which she portrays the character of Elizabeth Taylor. After watching the film (aired on 25th November in the United States), Lady Gaga stated that 26 year old Lindsay is a great actress.
Pop queen Gaga also voiced her support for Lohan on Twitter. She tweeted: “You did a beautiful job on ‘Liz & Dick’, Let no one bring u down, Liz didnt, they always try to knock the greats down a few pegs (sic)”.
In reply, Linsay Lohan tweeted: “@ladygaga thank you so much! You are such an incredible force and that means the world to me love & hugs xo hope to see you soon bella.”
Lady Gaga and Linsay Lohan are very good friends and earlier this year they had a slumber party with Lana Del Rey at Chateau Marmont where they spent the time together playing board games and watching old films.
According to reports, recently, Black Eyed Peas band member Fergie also supported Lady Gaga’s comment and tweeted: “@lindsaylohan Keep yr head up girl! #StopBullyingLindsay”
Jesse Tyler Ferguson, the ‘Modern Family’ star also defended Lohan this morning. He tweeted: “The day after Liz & Dick I just want to say: She’s already down. Lets not kick her (sic).”
